How can I purchase tickets?

Our tickets are on-demand and can be purchased at the ticket counter at the Charlevoix and Beaver Island airports.

Please arrive 30 minutes prior to flight time.

Yes, weather permitting.

There is automobile parking at both airport facilities – Charlevoix and Welke Airports.  Charlevoix Airport is managed by the City of Charlevoix and charges daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly parking fees.   Parking at Welke Airport is free for customers of Island Airways.

Yes.  The largest bag/cargo/cooler we can transport is 30 pounds.  Please pack in multiple smaller containers.

You receive 25 pounds of luggage with the purchase of your ticket.  Over 25 pounds are charged a per-pound fee and are transported on a space-available basis.  If you are an active, current member of our frequent flyer program you receive 40 pounds of luggage, and over 40 pounds are charged a per-pound fee and are transported on a space-available basis.

Yes.  Small pets under 20 pounds are free of charge.  Pets over 20 pounds are $35.00

No.  While it is legal in Michigan transportation on aircraft is prohibited by the FAA.  For more information please see the FAA site at the following link: https://www.faa.gov/pilots/transporting_marijuana

Yes.  Please let the staff know of any potentially hazardous materials you want to transport and they will review the regulations to see if Island Airways can transport them.

No.  Fireworks are prohibited by the FAA.
